This 1972 Datsun 510 is a fresh, fully built street machine. Every system has been upgraded to make it an absolute blast to drive. Under the hood, it’s got a turbocharged KA24DE from a Nissan 240SX, rebuilt with forged internals and pushing around 350whp at 20psi of boost. With a curb weight of just 2,200 lbs, it’s quick, responsive, and a ton of fun.
The suspension is fully refreshed with new bushings, coilovers, and a fresh coat of paint. Braking is handled by Wilwood four-wheel discs, and it sits on Watanabe-style wheels.
The body is clean and straight, finished in fresh Cavalry Blue. The front and rear bumpers have been removed for a sportier look. Inside, the interior has been redone with period-correct sport bucket seats, a RetroSound radio, and rear speakers. A hidden AFR/boost gauge sits in the glove box.
There’s zero rust, and everything has been gone through—this car is ready to drive and enjoy. A carbon fiber hood is on the way, as the current one has bent hinge mounts.
